This fortified wine is flavored with the finest imported botanicals to give it its delicate flavor, aroma and dryness. A perfect cocktail mixer, it is also wonderful when served as an aperitif. In addition, dry vermouth can be used as a substitute for white wine in food recipes.

Meier’s Sweet Vermouth
Meier’s Sweet Vermouth is made from a delicate blending of selected wines. It’s full-bodied flavor makes it a perfect mixer in cocktails and a delicious after-dinner drink when served by itself.

Meier’s #11 Pale Dry Sherry
This wine is our driest sherry. The primary grape we use in our “Shermat” is the Niagara. “Shermat” is short for sherry material. This base wine is fortified and aged until the Niagara aroma is transformed into those typical of sherries – a slight nuttiness and caramel. This is a sipping wine. Serve just below room temperature, or if you prefer, chilled.

Meier’s #22 Golden Sherry
We call the #22 Sherry “Golden Sherry”. Although made in the same way as our #11 Sherry, the final blending produces a wine with a darker hue and a bit more body. This sherry is a great accompaniment with sharp cheeses, or just for sipping. Like our #11 Sherry, serve just below room temperature, or, if you prefer, chilled.

Meier’s #33 Cream Sherry
Our #33 sherry is a rich, full bodied, fortified wine with just hint of oak. This wine is a blend of Niagara and Muscat grapes. You can enjoy this wine at room temperature, or if you prefer, chilled.

Meier’s #44 Cream Sherry
This wine is our premier sherry. The base is a blend of Niagara and Muscat wines. Grape spirits are added to “fortify” the blend. The wine is than aged in 50 gallon barrels for at least three hot Cincinnati summers. The heat and the barrel aging result in a wine rich in nose and flavor. Enjoy as a sipping wine after dinner.

Meier’s Ruby Red Port
Our Ruby Port is blended from fortified Concord wine and a bit of oak aged port for just a touch of complexity. Fruitier than our #44 Port, For an elegant dessert, serve the #44 Port with a variety of cheeses and fruit.

Meier’s Tawny Port
This dessert wine starts its life off as a ruby port, but is then aged in wood to give it the distinctive “tawny” color the wine is named after. More complex than the ruby port, but also possessing a smoother finish, this wine is made for sipping.

Meier’s Marsala
Our Marsala is a semi-sweet fortified wine made from a blend of white wine and unfermented grape juice. The wine is aged in both new and old oak barrels and casks to give the wine its distinct flavor. This is the perfect wine to use as the signature ingredient in either Chicken or Veal Marsala. Enjoy this wine at room temperature, or if you prefer, chilled.

Meier’s #44 Ruby Port
Aged in oak barrels, our #44 Port has great mouth-feel and a velvety finish. This wine is made from a variety of vinifera grapes. Most often, ports are enjoyed as after dinner aperitifs. For an elegant dessert, serve the #44 Port with a variety of cheeses and fruit.
